January - C'ford Polar Bear Plunge

Typically the last Saturday in January, the Polar Bear Plunge has activities on the go around town all weekend. Several brave soles plunge into the Trent River, skate with the Rebel hockey team, outdoor figure skating show, horse wagon rides thru town and lots more family fun.

February - Campbellford Bridal Fair

Typically held on the Valentine's Weekend, the Campbellford Bridal Fair has a fashion show, prizes, displays by various companies from flowers to pictures and a free gift bag to all brides. Contact Brenda Tucker for information on this years event.

July - Military Museum Open House

The Campbellford BIA Waterfront Festival has grown since it's inception in 1995 and has expanded as others groups have come on board. Features: Cardboard Boat Races, Canoe Races, Kayak Races, Tube Races, Bellyflop contest, Rebels Beach Volleyball Tournament, Beer Tent, Draws, Legion BBQ & Dance, Dunk Tank, Kids Games in the Park, Icecream Eating Contest, Christ Church special meals and lots more fun and laughs. Whether participating (our motto - the more, the merrier) or spectating, it is totally good, clean, family FUN.

August - Family Fishing Derby

Typically the first weekend in August, Campbellford holds a Family Fishing Derby. Trophies, cash & draw prizes. Weigh-ins are done at Duke's Bait & Tackle Shop on Simpson St. Come out and try your luck.

August - Campbellford-Seymour Agricultural Fair

The Campbellford-Seymour Agricultural Fair has been an annual event in this area since 1854. Large midway, ponies, horses, crafts, 4-H exhibits and much much more! Sunday night ends with the Demolition Derby. Pencil these dates on your calendar so you don't miss it. Aug 7-8-9 ( Sunday bracelet day at the midway )

November - Santa Claus Parade

The Campbellford Santa Claus Parade is always held on the last Saturday of November as a kick off for the Showcase of Lights. Generations come out each year to watch the great floats and bands parade by stirring up the excitement for the holiday season. The time of the parade has changed a few times in the last couple of years along with the parade route. For current information on this years parade contact Nancy Allanson at 653-1047.

December - The Showcase of Lights in Campbellford

Starting the last Saturday in November and running thru until the first weekend in January is the dramatic Showcase of Lights in Campbellford. Our beautiful town is transformed into a sea of colour and beauty, enhanced by the reflections in the Trent-Severn Waterway. Lighted daily from 5:30pm.
