2777 Royal Canadian Army Cadets Δ

Army Cadets train at Campbellford District High School on Mondays (from 7 to 9 p.m.), except during holidays and summer months. Membership is free, and open to physically fit males and females 12 to 18 years old, living in Trent Hills, Roseneath, Havelock and Norwood. Back to Basics Youth Group Δ

For ages 5 to 14, provides basic life skills and encourages pride within oneself, family and community. Co-ed groups meet every Monday evening from September to June at St. George's Anglican Church, from 7 - 8:30 p.m. Contact Mary-Lou Humphries, 705-696-2396.

The 1st Campbellford Scouting meets as follows: Troop Monday Night from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. The Cubs meets Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 pm and the Beaver Colony meets 6:30 - 7:30 pm on Wednesdays. New members are welcome to join anytime.

Girl Guides of Canada Δ

Sugarbush District serves Campbellford/Warkworth. Girls and young women learn co-operation, self-sufficiency and self-confidence amid their peers. Sparks (age 5-6), Brownies (7-8), Guides (9-11), Pathfinders (12-14) and Senior Branch (Rangers, 15-plus) meet at various times and locations. Call Commissioner Sam Brown at 705-653-4586.

Northumberland 4-H Veterinary Club Δ

Offers young people 10 to 21 years of age an opportunity to learn more about animals and veterinary medicine. Activities include fair exhibits, projects, reports and field trips to local farms. Contact Campbellford Veterinary Services at 705-653-2750.

The Pioneer Club for Boys and Girls Δ

A non-denominational biblical education program sponsored in Campbellford by the Baptist Church. Children from junior kindergarten to grade 8 meet every Monday from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the Baptist Church at 166 Grand Road. Call Vivian Smallwood at 705-653-4490.
