The Advisory Council for Seniors operates out of the Forrest Dennis Seniors Centre Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (except July and August, when it's open for three hours Tuesday mornings). The community elected to allocate the proceeds of the sale of their 100-year old public utility to the Campbellford/Seymour Community Foundation. The Foundation was given the mandate to ensure the funds were used for the common good, now and for the future. The CSCF makes grants available for projects both large and small to benefit and enhance life in Campbellford/Seymour across a broad spectrum of categories - Arts & Culture, Education, Youth, Recreation, the Environment, Health, Social Services and Community Development.
